Madison Avila

Today’s 8th Grade Student Spotlight features Madison Avila.

Madison will be attending St. Jean Baptiste High School next year and has received an academic scholarship. At GSS, Madison has participated in Harry Potter Club, Theater Program, Dodgeball Club, DEA Dance, Girls Basketball, and Church Choir.

Madison received a young writers award in 2019 for having her short story published in children’s book. She has also twice received the Damian Meehan Scholarship.

She would like to thank her teachers for giving her a chance to do her best, and will take this lesson with her after graduation: “ask for help when you need it.”
