Jalene Howard

Today's 8th Grade Student Spotlight features Jalene Howard.

Jalene will be attending Preston High School next year. She is looking forward to learning new things about Science and ELA and growing as a person in a new environment.

Past high school, she might like to study psychology, medicine, or business. Jalene enjoys ELA, reading, writing, cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and also playing volleyball and lacrosse. She has received second honors at GSS.

One of her favorite memories of GSS is Spirit Week, especially Blast from Past Day and Career Day. She would like to thank her teachers for pushing her to give it her all and making her more resilient.

Reflecting on her spirituality, Jalene has “become closer to God and has grown into a more kind and respectful individual.”
