In each issue, we will be spotlighting a student who shows excellence in the classroom and in our community!
In this issue, we are spotlighting Violet Villoch, a 6th grader at Good Shepherd. Violet is a busy bee at GSS! She is involved in DEA Dance club, the Theater Program, Choir, and Student Council. Outside of school, she takes dance lessons twice a week.
"My favorite thing about being a Good Shepherd student is the school community." Violet says her favorite subject is ELA and if you ever find her outside of school, she will "almost always be reading a book."
Violet is playing Jo, the passionate, adventurous, and brave March sister in Little Women. "I love that Jo is very independent and has very strong opinions, sort of like me!" She is excited to be in the cast to get to know all of the other cast and crew members, and is looking forward to tech week! "It's so fun to see the production in its final form."
Violet as "Gertrude McFuzz" in last year's production of Seussical, Jr. the musical
Violet balances academics and extracurriculars well and is a recipient of the The Damian Meehan Memorial Scholarship.
"When I graduate from GSS in a couple years, I will always remember to not only have one or two friends, but to branch out and be friends with more people!" We love that our students know the importance of friendship and community.
Congratulations to Violet on all she has accomplished and continues to do! We are proud to have her as part of our Good Shepherd School community, and we hope you catch her as she graces the stage as "Jo" in December!
