DEA Youth Dance Program Performance

Good Shepherd School is pleased to participate in the DEA Educational Foundation's DEA Youth Dance Program.  This free 20-week after-school dance class is led by a professional dance instructor and culminates with a school performance for family and other students.  In addition to encouraging a love of dance, the program incorporates positive themes, including:

• Participating in positive alternatives to drugs and gang violence
• Building of self-esteem, teamwork
• Resisting negative peer pressure
• Focusing on positive health and attitude
