Kindergarten:
Children must be 5 years old as of December 31, 2025.
Information for Transfer Students Grades 1-7
Students transferred from another Catholic school must be current with all financial obligations from the previous school. Schools will be contacted regarding academics, behavior and school attendance. The faculty and administration of Good Shepherd maintain high expectations regarding student behavior, attitude and work ethic. Students are expected to be well behaved and respectful.
Documents required for registration
Copies of prior three years final report cards
Results of latest standardized test scores.
Results of NYS testing: ELA and Math
Copy of any latest IEP evaluations
Child’s Birth Certificate and last physical examination form.
Immunization records with up to date immunizations, very important.
If Catholic, must bring Certificates of all Sacraments received.
Application and Registration fees are non refundable.
To apply for Good Shepherd School's Free 3K and PreK program, please visit schools.nyc.gov. Please note that 3K students will be given priority for attending our PreK Program.
All NYC families with children born in 2022 can apply to 3K for All beginning early next spring. Children will begin 3K in September 2025.
All NYC families with children born in 2021 can apply to PreK for All beginning early next spring. Children will begin PreK in September 2025.
